A Mother’s Sacrifice
Those nine months of pregnancy is no joke. A woman’s body has to go through series of change no one could imagine. Just think of the possible complications you might have when you go through pregnancy, morning sickness, preeclampsia, hemorrhoids, UTI, heartburn, constipation, and many more. Until now, we can’t grasp how our mothers survived that. But our moms are no ordinary women, they have sacrificed their body for a beautiful baby who would change their world forever.
Parenting doesn’t stop when you gave birth, it’s actually just the beginning of sleepless nights, fatigue, post surgery recovery, and caring for your little one. I thought it was easy but after seeing mom gave birth to my sibling, I realized how difficult it was. Despite her difficult condition, she still calls out for me to make sure I’m doing fine. She often apologizes to me because she has to attend to the baby which I perfectly understand. My heart melted in the thought that I was once that little, helpless baby. And I’m certain that she gave her very best in taking care of me.
A Love in Return
Now, that I’m a grown up, I would like to show mom how much she means to me. And I want her to know that she is the best mom in the world. Without her, I would be nothing. Thank you mom for everything, and in return, I promise that I will take care of you no matter what. Thank you for giving me life and for being strong raising us. You’re the best and we love you to pieces.
